The Amazon Appstore business development (BD) team is looking for customer-centric BD professionals to drive content selection and help our partners further grow, utilizing Amazon’s diverse set of assets, products, and services. The BD Manager will source, drive, and build strategic relationships with top grossing game developers. Our ideal candidate will have deep experience in mobile games monetization, business analytics, strategic relationship building, and deal negotiation. In addition, the candidate will like platforms and enjoy improving customer experience for both game developers and end consumers.
Responsibility
· Build trusting relationships with top developers, including identifying rising stars, and helping manage ongoing relationships
· Support Business Development Managers to drive adoption and monetization of Appstore and related services for strategic games partners
· Author and co-author business documents and reports to communicate state of the business or recommend new key initiatives
· Troubleshoot partner issues with the Solutions Architect team
· Interface regularly with Marketing both in Japan the US to plan and execute innovative and effective marketing activities
· Communicate market opportunities and partner feedback to cross-functional teams (products, marketing, finance)

· BA/BS degree
· 5+ years of relevant BD experience
· 2+ years of work experience in games, Internet and/or media industries and/or early stage companies
· Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation and negotiation, and listening skills in both Japanese and English
· Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

· Great track record of sourcing, developing, and maintaining partner relationships
· Comfort with discussing basic technical feasibility of partner integrations
· Superior ability to present to executives and lead cross-functional teams (product, marketing, etc.)
· Passion for games and platform business
· Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
· MBA(or graduate degree in a management or engineering field) is a plus
· Experience in Android or iOS application developer or equivalent industry including mobile
· Expertise in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
