DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented, smart, and enthusiastic leader to manage inventory planning, operations and project management within Watch & Jewelry business, which is one of our largest, most complex and fastest-growing businesses. Manager of Instock Manager will oversee planning and inventory management for a set of product categories as well as drive analysis and optimization of inventory management systems and processes to ensure we achieve world-class inventory availability and health. Additionally, he/she will drive initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
· Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved in-stock rates, inventory planning and systematic forecasting
· Optimize key system inputs to achieve highly automated replenishment
· Partner with internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually
· Drive process improvement and operational excellence within our vendor community by reducing costs, defects, and lead times, while increasing innovation, automation, and economies of scale
· Partner with vendor managers and marketing managers in driving sales and profitability growth
· Drive complex business analysis that identifies opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline
· 4+ years of experience in inventory planning, operations, retail, consulting and/or finance, with a history of owning/driving results
· Experience providing direction and/or mentorship to individual contributors – either directly or through influencing skills
· Highly analytical, capable of turning raw data into information and insights
· Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations
· Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to effectively communicate complex business concepts in both verbal and written form

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA with a quantitative focus, or advanced degrees in Operations Management, Mathematics/Engineering
· Strong numerical and analytical aptitude, and high proficiency creating and managing advanced models
· Strong proficiency in analytical tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL and statistical software
