We are looking for Customer Experience & Localization, JP Export who is solid English and Japanese writing skills, startup mentality and capacity to lead and work with external teams and contractors.
The Customer Experience & Localization will focus on improving our customer experience in English on co.jp including mobile browsers and mobile Apps and must be fluent in English and Japanese. This position will play a key role in driving key localization projects, localizing key promotions/merchandising, creating and updating landing pages for cross border shoppers.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Build and manage localization process and guideline with teams across Amazon Japan, Global team and outsourcers
· Drive key localization projects by interacting with global teams
· Provide translation, editing and quality checks of the contents when necessary
· Validate shopping experience for cross border shoppers to identify area for improvements on co.jp site including collecting VOC and validating customer experience for cross border shoppers
· Use a set of software and editing tools to build multi-language web pages and localize category specific campaigns
· Create contents for website, email, social media, banner in English
· Solve problem creatively by using available metrics to identify issues and make recommendations on go forward localization
· Build and maintain strong cross functional partnerships with technical and functional teams

· Minimum of 2 years of expertise in localization/internationalization project, or online editoria
· 1+ years working experience as a professional editor for English language quality assurance
· Fluent in Japanese and English
· Be obsessed with English linguistic quality even when under tight deadlines
· Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
· Experience in the field of localization or editing and experience with HTML, XML

· Knowledge of multidimensional quality metrics (translation quality metrics)
· Experience with Web design or UI design
· Experience with localization engineering
