Manager, Technical Trainer - AWS Japan Training Business

DESCRIPTION

Reporting To – Sr. Manager, AWS Training & Certification. This individual will be responsible for managing a region of the Training and Certification Business. Responsibilities include managing instructor and training coordinators and direct and indirect training programs.
· Manage Technical Trainers ensuring that they are developed and utilized across AWS products and Services
· Manage Training Coordinators and Program Managers
· Plan Course Schedules for all Audiences
· Work closely with the Training Business Development Managers and Sales/Partner Teams to Provide Training proposals for Customers and Partners. This includes the development of SOW’s.
· Work closely with BDMS and clients to determine training requirements and build detailed training proposals and plans to accelerate adoption of AWS Services.
· Maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure flawless execution of training plans.
· Work with training partners to ensure they have skilled instructors.
· Build & maintain a pipeline of training opportunities and provide regular forecasts for Direct Training.
· Manage ATP and AAI to deliver quality trainings
· Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management.

- 品質の高いトレーニングを実施するための顧客管理
- 日本のシニアトレーニングマネージャへのレポーティング

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS Degree or Equivalent Experience
· 5+ year’s management, business development and sales experience, preferably in the IT industry
· Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
· Experience conducting Training Needs Assessments and developing training plans.
- ITまたはITトレーニング業界における5年以上のマネジメント経験
- 内部及び外部の組織を超えて効率的に動くモチベーションを有していること
- 高いレベルでの口頭および文書によるコミュニケーション(日本語および英語)
- 新しい技術やサービスに対する知識習得に対して積極的であること

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience Managing Training and Certification Programs for an IT, Software or Hardware Organization.
· Experience leading a team of business development professionals.
· A technical background in engineering or computer science.
· Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or Cloud Computing concepts.
· Marketing, operations and training delivery experience.
