Head of Sales Productivity & Readiness

Manager, Sales Productivity & Readiness
The Amazon Pay Sales team is looking for a Sales Productivity & Readiness leader to own and execute programs that drive productivity and efficiency of our sales, customer onboarding and support, account management, business development, and marketing teams. At Amazon Pay our teams focus relentlessly on providing exceptional customer experience.
As the Manager for Sales Productivity & Readiness you will own definition and delivery of our innovative approach to customer engagement. You will also partner with organization’s leaders and HR partners to develop and execute our salesforce expansion strategy.
Successful candidates will thrive in ambiguous environments and display an exceptional ability to lead through influence across centralized corporate organization and high powered field-based sales teams. This role will require an obsession for identifying and closing process gaps and holding one’s self and partners to the highest standards.

Role scope
· Champion customer obsessed sales and innovation
· Develop sales enablement strategies that drive enthusiasm and results for our global sales teams
· Lead changes to the salesforce enablement program (practices, mechanisms and tools) in line with product expansion
· Develop and maintain customer obsessed sales and relationship management playbook, continuously aligning it to salesforce needs, tenure, and productivity
· Establish a best in class onboarding experience for new team members, accelerating their path to delivering unmatched customer experience and productivity
· Partner with the marketing, analytics and Amazon teams beyond Pay to gather insights and develop narratives/pitches that enable sales team to communicate value to customers
· Plan and deliver sales training, scaling best practices to our global locations
· Establish mechanisms and tools for sales and business development teams across the enterprise to deliver on our vision of One Amazon
· Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Operational Readiness and Sales on GTM plans to ensure our sales teams are equipped for all major and minor launches/go-to-markets
· Support sales leaders in assessing salesforce skills, and development of goals related to team engagement and upskilling
· Develop and launch sales leadership development program
· Drive experimentation and adoption of salesforce productivity tools; partner with SOPs and other systems support teams to drive adoption and prioritize enhancements
· Craft workforce strategy and facilitate execution in partnership with senior sales leaders
Skills
· Experience leading project delivery for large, cross functional programs
· Demonstrated ability of working in complex environments to drive business process change
· Experience in assessment and redesign of operational and sales enablement mechanisms (methodology and process)
· Exceptional customer obsession with a passion for working backwards from the needs of field or sales organizations
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presenting to senior executives
· Demonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results from inception to completion
· Excellent planning and execution skills. Meticulous and methodical, detail oriented with experience diving deep and asking the right questions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
· 5+ years of direct sales sales operations, or field talent development leadership
· 5+ years of experience leading project delivery for large, cross functional projects.
· Demonstrated ability of working in complex environments to drive business process change.
· Experience developing operational processes, methodologies and process improvements.
· Consistent record of achieving insight through analytic or quantitative methods
· Off the charts problem solving skills
· Experience with CRM and sales systems such as Salesforce
· Bachelor's degree is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA
· Leadership in operations transformations, Lean operations, standing up of new functions/teams, or delivery of new tech-enabled capabilities
· Background working with, and supporting, field facing organizations
