Partner Integration Manager, Amazon Incentives
The Amazon Incentives business is seeking a highly skilled Partner Integration Manager to join our team and manage integrations and technical relationship between Amazon and our enterprise clients using the externally facing Incentives APIs. This role will be responsible for providing technical and operational guidance to new and existing clients, managing integration projects, and providing technical documentation and training to external parties and business teams. S/he will also act as primary stakeholder in developing new API capabilities, serving as the voice of the customer, and providing market requirements and use cases.
The Amazon Incentives business has experienced high growth for years, and the externally facing Incentive APIs are integral to future growth. The role requires an individual with strong competencies including ownership, client-focus, technical acumen, teamwork, communication, innovation, and business management supporting Japan but working on a global team.
Essential to this role is the ability to multitask in an environment of competing demands, both internal and external to the company. Applicants will be expected to give technical guidance to partners as they integrate with our systems, lead cross functional projects, address chronic system issues, provide process improvements, develop documentation, and contribute to a team environment. Applicants should have strong verbal and writing communication skills, and have the discretion to make business judgments in a somewhat ambiguous environment on a daily basis. The Incentives Partner Integration Manager will:
· Provide project management and technical support for corporate clients integrating with the Incentives APIs
· Work with the sales and operations team to present the technical capabilities of the Incentives API to the prospective enterprise clients
· Lead cross functional projects to migrate installed client base to new technology involving technical, operations, accounting, and product management teams
· Leverage technology and innovation to bring continuous improvement to operational processes
· Channel client feedback to product management, business development, marketing, and engineering teams
· Develop technical documentation supporting our products and platforms
· Ensure best user experience for corporate clients and document emerging product needs
· Coordinate large-scale communications to clients around payments, policies and procedures

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
· 5+ years directly supporting internal or external stakeholders with technical solutions
· Demonstrated ability to develop, direct, and manage a client relationship
· Demonstrated experience juggling multiple priorities to deliver results in cross-functional environments
· Strong verbal/written technical communication in Japanese (native) and English (proficient), including an ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external partners
· Ability to establish credibility and work with technical and non-technical business owners

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Working knowledge of service oriented architecture and web service technologies (XML, REST)
· Ability to write SQL queries
· Experience with the following web technologies: JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, and HTML5
· Strong project management experience
· Strong problem solving, highly analytical
· Ability to debug complex technical systems
· Strong attention to detail
· Global business interest and experience
· Strong customer focus
