Audible (a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon) is looking for a results-oriented Program Management leader for Japan who will interface with global Product, Business, and Development teams to success-fully launch customer-driven products for our JP business. As a key member of the Audible team, the Program Management leader will be responsible for coordinating between diverse cross-company channels to ensure delivery of key product milestones. We are seeking an entrepreneurial digital marketer who likes to use data and technology to drive results. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that deliverables are sent to market in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
As Program manager, your key responsibilities will include:
· Ensuring Audible offers best in class customer experience and usability.
· Managing prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, site performance and operational support load.
· Translating the customer experience to prepare a logically-sequenced product and feature requests. Communicate with global teams to have these requirements reflected into roadmap.
· Driving innovation for Audible experience from Japan by seeing and presenting the big picture vision in a compelling, data-driven fashion.
· Proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
· Sweating the small stuff when it comes to the customer experience and your business. You will be the foremost expert on all customer-facing and business aspects of this platform and be conversant in the technology.
· Deeply understanding needs of Japanese customers, and addressing the needs with Audible product features.
· Writing product requirements documents and ensuring clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, usability, and development teams.
· Leading detailed execution of features ensuring a high quality bar, timely delivery, and an attention to detail.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Math, Marketing, or Computer Science or a related field of study.
· 7+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, ecommerce, UX, or technology in technological industry.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English, with proven experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management.
· Highly logical and can communicate complexities concisely
· Strong analytical and Excel skills.
· Ability to generate and quickly execute upon actionable recommendations based on the synthesis and analyses of data.
· Teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves. Earns trust from stakeholders, and is willing to do whatever it takes to deliver the right results
· Capable of working in ambiguity. No set tasks, need to identify projects, set own goals, and work with cross functional teams
· Ownership-Understand that ALL issues pertaining to the business is her/his issue. Propose and execute actions and challenge others to do same
· Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
· Can deal with high pressure situations.

· MBA
· Familiarity with the Japan market
· New product development experience
· Experience working with international teams
· Proven understanding of campaign performance metrics for online marketing
· Experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics
