Seller Relationship Manager, Reported Abuse

Amazon has built a reputation for excellence with recent examples of being named the #1 most trusted company for customers. To deliver on this reputation for trust the Marketplace Abuse team is tasked with identifying and preventing abuse for our customers and brand owners worldwide.
We are looking for people who are passionate about helping us ensure that customers may make great purchase decisions and that brand owners and sellers using Amazon are successful listing and selling their products. Amazon’s growth requires leaders who move fast, have an entrepreneurial spirit to create new solutions, have an unrelenting tenacity to get things done, and are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems.
This is a global role that will include interaction with global teams and requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively with various business teams and may require travel. Your decisions are not only fundamental to helping protect customers and sellers but will help maintain the health of the Amazon catalog and product listings ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a proven track record setting program strategy to deliver results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering, or technology with relevant work experience.
2. 2+ years experience in Account Management, Incident Management, or Escalations leading resolutions to major events with external clients.
3. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
5. Excellent cross group collaboration skills.
6. Business fluency in Mandarin and Japanese.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems.
2. Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
3. Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.
4. Experience with abuse, risk management, compliance or similar product initiatives is preferred.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management.
6. Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
7. High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
