Sr. Strategic Account Manager

Amazon Publisher Services helps digital publishers around the world build and grow thriving businesses. We provide services and advanced technologies to web, mobile app and advanced TV publishers of all sizes, including many of comScore’s global top 100, to help them monetize their content with demand from multiple programmatic buyers. Our server-side header bidding solutions are fast and reliable across devices, handling billions of queries per day, delivering ads in milliseconds. The result is more profitable advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers.
Amazon Publisher Services is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager who will manage a portfolio of third-party programmatic buyers. The ideal candidate will combine proven experience managing and growing high-value partnerships with a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, in order to drive optimum value for our programmatic buyer customers.
In this role, you will:
· Own all strategic, operational, and technical aspects of relationships with programmatic buyers. Develop friendly, collaborative, and long-term partnerships.
· Oversee onboarding of new buyer demand and proactively find and execute optimization opportunities.
· Collect customer and overall market feedback to guide program strategy. Translate this feedback into product requirements and drive execution of new features with customers.
· Understand and monitor key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth or improvement.
· Collaborate with business development, product, business analyst, and engineering to shape program strategy and growth.
· Conduct regular business reviews with customers. Employ consultative, long term approach and build productive relationships with stakeholders of all levels within the customer’s organization.
· Analyze data and provide data-driven insights to improve our advertising programs.
· Investigate and work directly with engineers to help them troubleshoot customer issues. Ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
· Contribute to written strategy documents for Amazon leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of experience in digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis
· Experience with annual brand planning and media planning
· 5+ years of work experience within online media buying/selling industry, with at least 2 years focused on account management.
· 3+ years of experience partnering with SSPs, DSPs, and/or publishers.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related fields.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


· Knowledge of programmatic advertising space, header bidding, publisher products, SSPs, and DSPs, especially industry trends and challenges.
· Deep understanding of how media (display and video) is bought, solid, and delivered programmatically across web, app, and OTT.
· Ability to work independently to initiate and manage large strategic relationships, both local and international, and assess partnership viability and growth opportunities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across a broad range of technical and non-technical people.
· Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, being comfortable with pulling reports, diving deep into the data and analyzing trends.
· Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues directly with Product Management and Engineering.
· Team player with strong persuasion skills and proven ability to influence senior leadership.
· Customer-driven product thinking and ability to identify and prioritize requests.
· Proactive attitude with excellent project, organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to travel 1-2x/quarter
