Title: Software Development Engineer II
Worksite: Palo Alto, CA
Position Responsibilities:
Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools. Under direct supervision of senior engineers, participate in the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, working within defined parameters. Develop components designed by senior engineers for integration into larger applications, systems or services. Write or contribute to technical specifications. Triage software bugs in the day to- day operation. Report on the status of projects in a timely and accurate fashion using available metrics.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: optimizing algorithms; and designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software or web applications, tools, systems and services using Object Oriented Design and C++, C#, Java, or Perl.
